side a revisits the sound of lies era with “trouble,” “sound of lies,” and “big star” in alternate acoustic versions, plus “sister cry,” extended from the 1992 hollywood town hall era with loose, expressive instrumental interplay.
side b highlights the smile era with “somewhere in ohio,” “mr. wilson,” “i’m gonna make you love me,” “what led me to this town,” and “smile.” these performances hum with warmth and space, capturing a band reconnecting with the heart of their songs.
